Amata has taken delivery of a refurbished 24.

The new Amata 24 is based on a 1993 Hino Kestrel 500 FT chassis, is 4 x 4 and carries 2000 litres of water.

Built by Moore Engineering, it is fitted with a Hatz 2L40 motor / Gaam Mk300 pump.

The appliance is the first allocated to the brigade, which formed in 2014. The brigade has been utilising Region 4 spare appliances from its formation, until now.
