Updates on the Bushfire situation in NSW

Over 380 Crew members from 148 brigades from all over South Australia and their appliances have now been in operation in NSW for a number of days. The appliances have been supplied from Argyle, Balaklava, Balhannah, Barmera, Belair, Bridgewater, Burnside, Coonawarra, Dalkeith, Donovans, Flinders Group, Gumeracha Group, Joanna, Karoonda, Keith, Lobethal, Lucindale, Mawson Group, Mawson Group, Mid Murray Group, Mil Lel, Millicent, Mount Pleasant, Mt Lofty Group, Mylor, Naracoorte, Para Group, Paracombe, Pinnaroo, Region 1 Operations, Region 5 Operations, Sedan, Spencer Group, Strathalbyn, Tailem Bend, Tanunda, Taratap, Upper Riverland Group, Victor Group, Virginia, Waikerie and the Wattle Range Group. They are assisting the NSW Rural Fire Service in combating the serious fires around the Sydney area.

Strike Team 1 spent today mopping up and spotting out in the Hawkesbury Ridge area. Strike Team 2 conducted back burning at Warrimoo along with Strike Teams 3 and 4.

Strike Team 5 was involved in asset protection in the Springwood area. A NSW Rural Fire Service appliance and crew still accompanies each CFS Strike Team.
