Hand Tools
Basic tools carried as stowage

A collection of hand tools are carried on each appliance to assist in combating incidents. Many of these are used in overhaul and salvage operations, while others will be used for entry to structures and vehicles.

These tools may include (but not limited to), axe, brooms, shovels, sledge hammers, bolt cutters, jemmy bar, crowbar, ceiling hook, tool boxes and Halligan tools. Some of these tools are featured on their own page, and for the rest, they will be mentioned here.
